Halloween Havoc sends the NXT Title and the women's title to Saturday

This is a partial card because it is a preview. WWE’s Halloween Havoc page lists the bouts below and says the show airs Saturday, October 31, at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT on The CW and ESPN Unlimited. The preview does not name a building in the text used for this file. A city that is not on that page is cut. Danhausen hosting is a segment, not a match.

The weekly show that led in is the October 27 NXT from the Performance Center. Havoc is filed on the PLE hub and linked from the NXT hub so both doors reach the same card.

The two title matches

Grayson Waller defends the NXT Championship against Tony D’Angelo. WWE says Waller won the title at Heatwave by pinning D’Angelo after Cruz Montana hit Spun The Block. D’Angelo earned the rematch by beating Myles Borne on the October 13 NXT. Tuesday’s broadcast ended with the two of them fighting in a parking lot, which is on the results page as the show’s frame and on Fightful’s file as the close. The fight is not a substitute for Saturday’s match. No winner is available, so the status stays announced.

Kelani Jordan defends the NXT Women’s Championship against Wren Sinclair. WWE says Sinclair was suspended after striking an official, then won a 20-woman battle royal while disguised as AAA’s Lady Shani. Robert Stone reinstated her and kept the title match. Jordan’s objection is part of the preview. The match is still listed. Zaria, the NXT Women’s North American Champion, wrestles Izzi Dame in a non-title match on the same preview. WWE says Zaria offered Dame a championship match and Dame refused. The non-title label is the promotion’s, and this card repeats it so a reader does not think the Women’s North American Title is on the line.

The wheel matches and the singles bout

Zilla Fatu against Charlie Dempsey is a Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal match. WWE’s preview ties it to Birthright’s attacks on Fatu, including his hand being crushed, and to Fatu’s return. The specific stipulation under the wheel is not printed as a final choice in the preview text used here, beyond the Spin the Wheel frame. This page does not invent the landing spot.

Tavion Heights against Myles Borne is Weapons Wild. WWE says Danhausen had four druids spin the wheel and it landed on Weapons Wild. The October 27 results page says Danhausen announced that stipulation on the go-home show. Former tag partners, former NXT Tag Team Champions: that is WWE’s description of the split, including Borne’s attacks and Heights answering them. The match is announced.

Shiloh Hill against Naraku is a singles match on the preview. WWE says Naraku’s mist cost Hill an NXT North American Championship chance and that Hill was later cleared. The mist, the missed chance, and the clearance are the preview’s story. They are not a result from Saturday.

What this card is not

It is not the Dusty Cup final. Tuesday’s semifinals advanced Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno, and Hank and Tank. WWE did not put the final on the Havoc preview used here, so it is not on this match list. It is also not Friday’s SmackDown, even though Danhausen hosts that show too. Different promotion slot, different card, different page. When Havoc airs, winners need a results file. Until then the calendar is the right place to see Saturday next to Collision, which is AEW’s broadcast the same night and not part of this lineup.
