Ospreay against Fletcher is official for Full Gear

Two rows, because two episode pages exist. The first is a result that produced a booking. The second is the booking. Will Ospreay is still AEW World Champion. Kyle Fletcher does not hold that title. The world title file says the same thing.

On October 28, Fletcher beat Jack Perry. PWTorch times that match at 16:00 and says the pin was a brainbuster suplex off the ropes. Don Callis was on commentary. After the match, Fletcher said Mark Davis and Jake Doyle will win the tag titles at Full Gear and dared Ospreay. PWTorch then says Excalibur reported that Tony Khan made Ospreay against Fletcher official for the world title at Full Gear. Wrestleview reports the same official match. The status of the Full Gear bout is announced.

The Full Gear card already dated the show as November 14 in Phoenix from AEW’s October 21 recap. Wrestleview’s account of a Moxley promo also says November 14. The date is not changed. The new row is the opponent and the stipulation, not a new city.

October 21 is context, not a third row, because that Dynamite does not have its own episode page in this drop. AEW’s October 21 recap says Fletcher and Kevin Knight beat Ospreay and Adam Copeland, with Fletcher pinning Copeland. That tag result did not change the world title. It is why Fletcher’s name was already next to the champion before October 28. This thread does not treat the tag pin as a world-title loss.

Nothing on November 14 has happened. A finish written here would be a guess. The Dynamite hub holds the show that made the match. The road map holds the date order. When Full Gear airs, this announced row should become a result row or be replaced by one.

Fletcher’s promo, in PWTorch, also said Davis and Doyle will become tag champions at Full Gear. That is his claim about a different match. It is not a stipulation on the world title bout, and it is not a result. The world title row is only Ospreay against Fletcher. Callis was on commentary for the Perry match, which is why the Callis thread still sits next to this one without sharing a row. Blood and Guts on November 4 still does not list the world title as on the line. A Full Gear defense and a non-title cage match can both be true. This file does not merge them.
