A road map of the specials from Halloween Havoc through Full Gear
Halloween Havoc, Blood and Guts, Crown Jewel, and Full Gear are the next sourced specials. This map says which matches are booked and which stipulations were refused.
The next three weeks are not one “road to” package. They are four specials with different jobs, plus the weekly shows that feed them. This map puts them in date order and says, for each, what is booked, what is only a promo, and what a weekly result could still break. The PLE hub is the shelf. The calendar explainer is why a Wednesday special and a Saturday stream are not the same kind of square. The opinions are in the “what it is for” lines. The matches are in the cards.
October 31: Halloween Havoc, the one with a preview page
WWE’s preview is the cleanest document in the set. Halloween Havoc airs October 31 at 7 p.m. ET on The CW and ESPN Unlimited. Grayson Waller defends the NXT Championship against Tony D’Angelo. Kelani Jordan defends the NXT Women’s Championship against Wren Sinclair. Zilla Fatu meets Charlie Dempsey in Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal. Zaria meets Izzi Dame with the Women’s North American Title explicitly not on the line. Tavion Heights meets Myles Borne in Weapons Wild. Shiloh Hill meets Naraku. Danhausen hosts. The October 27 NXT confirmed the Weapons Wild stipulation and ended with Waller and D’Angelo in a parking lot. The building is not in the preview text this file used, so the map does not add one.
What Havoc is for, as a read: it is a brand’s tentpole that the weekly show already treated as real. It is not a draft. The risk is the Dusty final. Two teams advanced on Tuesday and the preview does not list them. If they are added, the card file should gain a match. The map should not assume the addition in advance. Havoc shares a date with Fright Night Collision, which is a broadcast of a taping, not a second NXT show.
October 28 and 31: the weekly shows that are not specials, and still matter
Fright Night Dynamite is still Dynamite. It matters to the map because Darby Allin’s TNT Title match against Josh Alexander can change who is champion before Blood and Guts. Persephone against Queen Aminata can change the TBS Champion the same night. FTR against the Motor City Machine Guns, tied 1-1, can swing a series that is not a special. Collision’s Artist of Stardom match can change a trios title that also has people in the women’s cage match. The map’s rule is that a Wednesday result is allowed to embarrass a November advertisement. The advertisement does not get edited until the result exists.
November 4: Blood and Guts, a building and two lineups
AEW’s event page puts the special at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville at 7:30 p.m. ET. The men’s lineup is in the October 21 recap: Will Ospreay, Adam Copeland, Steven Borden, the Young Bucks, and Allin against Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, Wardlow, Kevin Knight, Mark Davis, and Jake Doyle. The women’s lineup is in the October 24 recap, which says AEW confirmed Nightingale, Wrathlander, and the Brawling Birds against Triangle of Madness and Divine Dominion. Neither lineup sentence puts a championship on the line. Callis talked about taking belts. That talk is why the world title and the TNT title are linked from the card and not listed as stipulations.
What it is for: a cage match that AEW has already named, scheduled on a Wednesday so it occupies Dynamite’s slot, built to include champions without cashing their titles in. The read is that the company wants the violence on the tentpole and the title changes, if they come, on either side of it. Alexander’s Fright Night match is the test of that read. If he wins, the cage still has Allin in it and a different TNT champion outside it, unless AEW changes the lineup. The map will not change the lineup first.
November 7: Crown Jewel, four matches and a stadium
Crown Jewel is noon ET on November 7, Riyadh Season Stadium at KAFD, ESPN App in the United States and Netflix internationally. Roman Reigns against Sami Zayn. Chelsea Green against Liv Morgan. Cody Rhodes against Randy Orton, Last Man Standing. Bron Breakker and Austin Theory against Penta and Je’Von Evans, with the preview calling Breakker and Theory the World Tag Team Champions while the champions index says The Vision. The Fresno Raw already touched three of those matches: Zayn’s controversial retention, Morgan’s disqualification retention with Green in the save, and the attack that kept Penta from cashing in before he and Evans were lined up for the tag match.
What it is for: a champion-versus-champion show, plus a personal rematch that is not for the Undisputed title anymore. Rhodes retained that title at WrestleMania 42, according to the preview, and does not hold it now. The map’s fragile point is Friday. The October 30 SmackDown advertises Zayn against Trick Williams. A title change there breaks the Riyadh poster. The poster stays until the change is a result. The same is true if Green loses to Nikki Bella: her Crown Jewel slot is “WWE Women’s Champion,” and the name would have to be updated. The women’s world title is Morgan’s regardless, unless Fresno is somehow reread, and it should not be. A disqualification did not move it.
November 14: Full Gear, the partial one
Full Gear is Phoenix on November 14, with no building in the recap. Two matches are sourced. Hangman Page’s side agreed to a trios rematch with Swerve Strickland’s side and refused Texas Death. Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor are scheduled against Wrathlander for the women’s tag titles. Everything else a viewer might expect — a world title match, a Continental title match, a TNT match — is not on the card file. The Cut’s interest in Moxley’s title is a promo from October 24. It is not a signature on a November 14 contract in the sources used here.
What it is for, right now: a pay-per-view that exists on the calendar so the road does not pretend to end at Blood and Guts, with a short match list so the road does not pretend the poster is done. The champions list is who would be available for the matches that are not booked. Availability is not a booking. The storylines piece ranks the trails. This map only orders the dates. When a fifth special is announced with a source, it gets a card and a paragraph. It does not get a rumor slot at the bottom of the page.
What weekly television still has to do before each special
Havoc is the easiest handoff. Tuesday already aired, the Dusty semis have winners, and the preview’s match list was not contradicted by the go-home show. The remaining risk is an addition, not a contradiction. Blood and Guts is the opposite. It is eight days out at this clock, and Wednesday’s Dynamite can change a champion who is named in the lineup. The map treats Fright Night as a loading dock for November 4, not as a separate universe. Crown Jewel has two loading docks: Fresno, which already happened and kept both world champions in place, and Charleston, which has not. Full Gear’s loading dock is the entire Collision and Dynamite run between November 4 and November 14. That is a long gap for a card with two matches. Expect the card to grow. Do not grow it in this paragraph.
A reader using the map as a watching order can do this: Tuesday’s results if you care who is fresh for Havoc, Wednesday’s Dynamite live, Friday’s SmackDown if the Riyadh names matter to you, Saturday split between Havoc at 7 p.m. Eastern and Collision at 8. Then stop. November is a different week. Blood and Guts on the 4th, Crown Jewel on the 7th, Full Gear on the 14th. The champions list is the roster check before you start. The storylines piece is the argument for why four trails are worth the time. This map will not rank them again. It will only tell you which poster is allowed to change because a weekly show has not happened yet, and which poster is already a result. As of this clock, Havoc’s go-home is a result and Havoc itself is not. Treat every later poster as unfinished paper. Wednesday can still rename a champion. Friday can still rename two. Saturday can still add a Dusty final or a second Collision bout. The map’s job is to make those possible edits obvious before they happen, so a results drop edits a sentence instead of rebuilding the week from a rumor thread. Keep the posters in date order even when the stories overlap. Overlap is not a reason to merge Havoc with Collision or Blood and Guts with Full Gear. Separate files keep a wrong winner from spreading across two promotions in one edit. Everything after Wednesday night is still a card. That sentence should be deleted, not edited into the past tense, when the results files exist.
