Crown Jewel books champion against champion in Riyadh on November 7

This is a partial card drawn from WWE’s Crown Jewel preview, not from a results page. The preview says the event streams Saturday, November 7, at noon ET / 9 a.m. PT on the ESPN App with an ESPN Unlimited plan in the United States and on Netflix internationally. A separate section of the same page says Riyadh Season Stadium at KAFD is the site, announced by the General Entertainment Authority on behalf of Turki Alalshikh, in partnership with WWE. Tickets, the page said, would be available at webook.com. That is a ticket note, not a match.

Four bouts are in the preview’s quick hits and body. More could be added. They are not invented here to fill a poster.

The two champion-versus-champion matches

Roman Reigns, World Heavyweight Champion, meets Sami Zayn, Undisputed WWE Champion. WWE says Reigns beat CM Punk at WrestleMania to become World Heavyweight Champion and has been wrestling without his family interfering. It says Zayn has used questionable tactics since he reclaimed the Undisputed title. The preview also recalls Zayn’s time as Honorary Uce and their earlier title match. Those are WWE’s sentences. This desk does not add a family-member run-in that has not been announced, and it does not pick a winner. Zayn’s Fresno defense against Je’Von Evans is a result on the October 26 Raw. It did not remove him from this match. WWE’s champions index still lists both men as champions.

Chelsea Green, WWE Women’s Champion, meets Liv Morgan, Women’s World Champion. WWE says Green won her title in a five-way ladder match at SummerSlam against Tiffany Stratton, Jade Cargill, Charlotte Flair, and Lash Legend, and that she retained against Nia Jax while fighting through a broken orbital bone. It says Morgan became a four-time Women’s World Champion by beating Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch at Money in the Bank, and that Green confronted her on the following Raw. The Fresno disqualification, in which Green helped stop The Judgment Day after Morgan’s match with Lynch, does not cancel Riyadh. Both women are still billed.

Rhodes, Orton, and the tag match

Cody Rhodes against Randy Orton is Last Man Standing. WWE says Rhodes retained the Undisputed WWE Title against Orton at WrestleMania 42, that Orton hit him with the title and a punt afterward, and that Rhodes later punted Baron Corbin on SmackDown. The preview presents Crown Jewel as the rematch and names the stipulation. Rhodes is not listed as Undisputed WWE Champion on the current champions index. Zayn is. The WrestleMania 42 line is history in the preview, not a claim that Rhodes holds the belt now.

Bron Breakker and Austin Theory, named by the preview as World Tag Team Champions, meet Penta and Je’Von Evans. WWE’s champions index lists the World Tag Team Champions as The Vision, not as a two-name line. Both phrasings are on WWE pages in the same week. This card reports the match as the preview writes the participants, and the champions analysis keeps the naming difference visible instead of flattening it. Penta’s interrupted cash-in attempt on Raw and Evans’s loss to Zayn are Fresno results. They are the reason the tag match has heat. They are not a result from Riyadh.

Where this sits on the clock

Crown Jewel is after Halloween Havoc and after the October 30 SmackDown that already advertises Zayn against Trick Williams. A Williams win on Friday would change who holds the Undisputed title before Riyadh. That win has not happened. The Riyadh match stays announced with Zayn’s name in it until a sourced result says otherwise. The PLE hub lists this show next to Blood and Guts and Full Gear so the November specials are not one blob of “upcoming.”
