Profile

Sami Zayn

What WWE has printed about Sami Zayn's Undisputed WWE Championship run this fall: Fresno, Charleston, and the Crown Jewel match with Roman Reigns.

This file covers Sami Zayn only as far as WWE’s own pages, read on October 28, 2026. It does not include a birthday, a hometown, a trainer, or a reign that started on a date this desk cannot cite. Those lines are omitted, not estimated. The illustration on the page is a blue-ring comic. It is not a picture of him.

WWE’s champions index lists Sami Zayn as Undisputed WWE Champion. That is the current-status line. The title file is where the belt’s recent trail is kept. This profile is the person-shaped door into the same facts.

What Crown Jewel says he is walking into

WWE’s Crown Jewel preview books Roman Reigns, the World Heavyweight Champion, against Zayn on November 7 in Riyadh. The preview says Zayn reclaimed the Undisputed title and has used questionable tactics since. It says Reigns beat CM Punk at WrestleMania for the World Heavyweight Championship and has been wrestling without his family interfering. It also says Zayn once stood as Honorary Uce in the original Bloodline, that the two had a falling out, and that they wrestled for the Undisputed title before. The preview says the original Bloodline reformed in 2024, fought The New Bloodline at Survivor Series: WarGames, and won a WarGames match. Those are WWE’s historical sentences inside a 2026 preview. This file repeats them as preview copy. It does not expand them into a biography of 2024.

The match is announced. Zayn is still the named participant after his October 26 defense. A Friday title match against Trick Williams could change that before Riyadh. The preview has not been rewritten, so the profile does not rewrite it either.

Fresno, in the results WWE posted

On the October 26 Raw from Fresno, WWE says Zayn was forced to defend against Je’Von Evans after Evans confronted him, ahead of the Reigns match. Zayn won with the Helluva Kick. Penta came out to cash in Money in the Bank and was attacked by Bron Breakker before the cash-in. Evans left the ring during that, and WWE calls the pin controversial in the page summary. Bronson Reed and Breakker then hit Spears and Tsunamis on Penta and Evans. The Raw hub has the full show. The detail that matters here is narrow: Zayn is still champion, the win is the one WWE described as controversial, and the cash-in did not become a match.

The two SmackDowns that led to Charleston

WWE’s October 16 SmackDown results say Trick Williams, the United States Champion, confronted Zayn, then beat Johnny Gargano in a non-title match. Williams slammed Gargano’s head on the announce table in front of Zayn. Zayn is described as cheering Gargano on during the match. Williams won with a Trick Shot and a Book End. That is a non-title result. It is not a Zayn match. It is the confrontation that starts the trail.

WWE’s October 23 results say Zayn denied Williams a title match and then hit him. A tag match with Williams and Rey Fenix against Zayn and Gargano became a disqualification after Ricky Saints attacked. Penta then joined Williams and Fenix, and that trio beat Zayn, Gargano, and Saints. WWE says Williams hit the Book End on Saints and that the win came one week before Williams’s Undisputed title match against Zayn on SmackDown. The October 30 card is that match, in Charleston, plus the other bouts sourced on that page. Fightful’s lineup agrees on Zayn against Williams. The profile uses WWE’s sentence as the booking and Fightful as the lineup confirmation, which is how the card page is built.

What this file will not say

It will not say how Zayn won the title back, beyond “reclaimed,” because the Crown Jewel preview uses that verb and does not give the match in the sentences filed here. It will not say he is a heel or a babyface as a fact. “Questionable tactics” is WWE’s phrase, and it is attributed. It will not predict Charleston or Riyadh. The storylines piece is allowed to argue about what the week means. This page is the record the argument has to cite. The SmackDown hub and the Raw hub are the show doors. If a result moves the title, the champions index and this profile have to move together, with the source attached and a line on the corrections log if the old sentence was left up too long.
