Darby Allin
Darby Allin as TNT Champion in AEW's October reports: a Fright Night title match against Josh Alexander, and a named spot in the Blood and Guts lineup.
Darby Allin, in the sources for this file, is the AEW TNT Champion. The file stops where those sources stop. It does not list a debut year, a skateboard as a required prop, or a defense this desk did not read a result for. The page art is a generic hood and mask. It is not a likeness, and it should not be read as one.
The match that is actually booked
AEW’s October 24 Collision recap says Josh Alexander beat Blade Brown, with RPG Vice at ringside, and then asked for a TNT Title match against Allin on Fright Night Dynamite. The closer of that same article lists the bout as already announced: TNT Championship, Darby Allin against Josh Alexander. The October 28 card carries it as announced, alongside the TBS match and the FTR series tie. No winner is on file. The TNT title page says the same thing in belt-shaped language. Alexander is identified in the recap as part of the Don Callis Family. He also said, in that promo, that he would love to fight Adam Copeland and would put the TNT Title on the line if he held it. That is a hypothetical inside a promo. Copeland is not the Fright Night opponent. Allin is.
The show is at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, on the date AEW’s event page and the Collision closer agree on. Collision’s own Saturday match is a different card. Allin is not in it.
Where he was on October 21
AEW’s October 21 Dynamite recap puts Allin in the post-match of Will Ospreay and Adam Copeland against Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight. After the Callis Family beatdown, Allin’s music played. The recap says he handed a bat to the returning Steven Borden, and that the two of them, with Nick Jackson, cleared enough ground for Borden to challenge for Blood and Guts. The printed lineup includes Allin on the side with Ospreay, Copeland, Borden, and the Young Bucks, against Okada, Fletcher, Wardlow, Knight, Mark Davis, and Jake Doyle. The November 4 card is that match. Allin’s TNT Title is not described as on the line in the lineup. He is a named participant who also happens to be champion. The world title is Ospreay’s, and it is also not stipulated there.
October 24’s recap returns to that footage and to Copeland naming Jacksonville. Allin is in the group Ospreay is described as standing with. He does not get a new promo of his own in the paragraphs used here. The profile does not invent one.
What a Wednesday result would change
If Alexander wins on October 28, the TNT file and this profile have to say so, with the results source, and the Blood and Guts lineup would then need a check: AEW printed “TNT Champion Darby Allin” in the October 21 line. A title change before November 4 would make that label stale even if the person in the match stayed the same. This page will not pre-write that change. The Dynamite hub is where the result belongs first.
Other Allin matches that float around previews from earlier in the month are not in this file. A preview is not a result. Being called champion on October 21 and again in the October 24 announced list is the evidence that he held the title across those dates. It is not a defense-by-defense history. The champions analysis places the TNT Title next to the other belts with the same discipline. The standards are why a skateboard, a face design, or a catchphrase the recaps did not need are not smuggled in to make the profile feel more like a magazine bio.
